ENGLISH ORAL IS OVER!
Do you know, how relieved I was after I stepped out of the room? The atmosphere was so tense(for me, at least)! I was extremely glad that my picture has a lot of people inside! I hope I did well for picture discussion. As for the passage, I'm still alright with it. The very last part, which was conversation, I talked about Dubai!
So exciting. However, I did not talk about the "Building In Motion" building, neither did I talked about Burj Al Arab! Very wasted, I know. I was scared that they may not know what was Burj Al Arab, so I dropped the idea. The only thing that popped out in my mind about Dubai was Ski Dubai! Not very fascinating actually.
There was this funny part when they asked me: "And how do you get to know about all these?"
I answered: "Oh, I watched it from the National Geographic Channel."
Both examiner: *Laughs*
It might not be funny to you, but it is for me! I think I sounded completely like an idiot, seriously. And of the two examiners, only one of them kept flooding me with questions non-stop, the other Malay teacher did not ask me anything, at all! Plus, she had a very, very, extremely fierce look. I think I owe her money.
Okay, enough of oral. At the end of this month, I'm going to sit for Chinese Oral! Very nervous. But for now, I think I better start worrying for my D&T, time is ticking away!
OH! Earlier in the afternoon, Y was down with fever, dry cough, sore throat and body ache. I hope her fever subside by Wednesday or else she'll need to take further tests for H1N1! Please get well soon, lady! If you don't get better, J and I will be in deep shitz!
Love,
Ivy
PS: Humongous photos soon! :)
